Design

Web Rhetoric uses a structured plan to devise and develop your web strategy; the guidelines below illustrate that process.

Research: The most important aspect of web design occurs before a single line of code is written. What strategies are your competitors using and can it be improved upon? Who is your target audience and what is the best way to connect with them? A firm understanding of your market is essential before the design process can begin. I will spend hours researching your industry to layout the best possible strategy to be effective in your market.

Design: With a firm understanding of your industry, the design process can begin. But before code is written paper outlines are drawn up outlining the overall look and flow of your future site. At this stage, two way communications between the client and Web Rhetoric is essential to ensure that we are both in agreement of the strategy and stylistic approach to your new site.

Development: Once the paper outlines are completed, coding can begin. I will routinely post the progress of your website on one of my servers so you can follow the progress of your new site. Your feedback is essential to ensure that you are happy with the evolution of your site. This process can go through several revisions to make sure that each page is working to fulfill the overall strategy for the site.
